Rules and Guidelines should be discussed before you leave home. We take walkie talkies and make every effort to use them, respectfully. They do not work 100% of the time, dont expect them to. Your teens should know where they can find you. You should have a meeting place at specified times.
A Cruise Ship is a Big City. Since you dont leave your teens alone in a big city and not worry, be concerned where your kids are and who they are with. My kids think it is funny that we have stalked them, but we have always met the friends they hang out with.
About that, cruise critic roll calls can be a good place to start for parents to meet eachother and banter and see if the kids are near the same ages.
